HARRISBURG, Pa.--The MITER Foundation recently announced that it has raised more than $5 million in total through its two annual charity golf outings, held in Hershey, Pennsylvania, and Scottsdale, Arizona. The two events were the largest attended in the foundation’s history, with record amounts raised at both.

On October 13-15, over 650 participants gathered at Hershey Lodge in Hershey, Pennsylvania, to enjoy various activities, including golfing, multiple banquets, live and silent charity auctions, and more.

The second charity golf outing was held November 10-11 at the Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona. The event’s 250 participants enjoyed an evening gala, golfing, an ATV adventure, philanthropic activities, and first-class meals.

During the dinner events, powerful speeches were made by keynote speakers from More To Living, a new MITER Foundation partner and a leading organization for innovation in human trafficking prevention, direct victim services, identity discovery and care; The InVINCEable Foundation, a nonprofit organization the MITER Foundation has supported for the past two years with a mission to ease the burden, instill hope and nudge families forward amidst the challenge of pediatric cancer; and Army Major Yancy Baer, a Homes For Our Troops recipient.

Live auctions during the evening galas offered many exciting and unique items and experiences themed around the celebration of America’s upcoming 250th birthday, including tickets to the Army-Navy game; tickets to the FIFA World Cup in one of four selected cities; exclusive commemorative bottles of Sky Devil wine; tickets to the MLB All-Star Game in Philadelphia plus a weekend in Nantucket; a Caribbean vacation; a Sage Valley Golf Club experience; a Mountain Tops experience that included skiing, snowmobiling and Olympic bobsledding; a vacation to Torrey Pines/North Island; and a Desert Plains golf outing. Attendees also vied for one-of-a-kind pieces of art created by speed painter Cody Sabol during the event.

“Every year, these events serve as a powerful reminder of what can be accomplished when people come together,” said Amanda Klinger, MITER Foundation Program Manager. “The MITER Foundation’s expanding ability to give back is rooted in the passion and commitment of our team, our partners, and all who stand behind our mission. It’s not just a few days spent on the golf course, but rather a reflection of the values we share and the impact we strive to make together.”

Throughout the evening of both events, various donation matches were held to multiply funds raised, including a 10:1 match by MITER Brands on all $250 donations at the Scottsdale gala, in honor of the 250th birthday celebrations of the U.S. Army, Navy, and Marines in 2025. “Big Steve” Rehman, long-time MITER Brands team member and MITER Foundation board member, led his annual “$2 Bill Challenge,” pledging $50 for each two-dollar bill held in the air during the events, for a total contribution of over $40,000.

Serving as the primary fundraising activity for the MITER Foundation, all money raised at the events goes toward the four primary causes supported by the MITER Foundation: cancer support, heroes support, children’s well-being, and local outreach. The events were attended by MITER Brands’ supply partners, customers, nonprofit partner organizations, team members, and honored guests.

Formed in 2015, the MITER Foundation was born out of a sense of care and compassion from the MI® Windows and Doors team. Over the years, the MITER Foundation has expanded from local charities to a nationwide presence, partnering with organizations to drive the MITER Brands people-first culture in communities throughout the country.
